Werner History
Othman Werner the founder of “Werner electric” was born in Bielefeld, Germany – 1865. He started his career as an electrical
engineering and was always excited about future of electronics. His enthusiasm about the world of electronic encouraged him
to establish a manufacturing company in 1907. Innovative ideas, optimism, reliable and quality to create a complete customer
satisfaction and therefore a true partnership with customers have been the source concept of WERNER.
Werner started by manufacturing various types of wires and cables for small, medium and large industries before WWI. In late
1940s, Werner expanded the production to various types of push buttons and indicator lights after a huge success in 03 series
illumination pushbutton for aviation and navy that was mainly used for WW2. Werner has established a unique electronic global
brand, a leader in electro technique, home and industrial devices and had been an icon for many national and international
competitors. Werner’s goal is to build more manufacturing companies worldwide to ease access, provide better services and cost reduction strategies.
